DOG WALKING

I specialise in providing individual or small group activities with TLC for smaller dogs who often miss out when walked with larger dogs in a pack.

LITTLE DOGS HAVE BIG NEEDS!

Why Choose me?

I collect dogs from their own home and then take them for a 1 hour walk alongside other friendly dogs, usually at Tynemouth Longsands, Whitley Bay beach, Seaton Sluice beach, Churchill Playing fields or Country Parks. I try to vary the walks to keep the dogs stimulated so that at the end of the walk, your dog is returned home happy, content and ready for a long and leisurely snooze before your return home. I do not take more than 4 dogs out at the same time.

During term times there are usually two 1 hour group walks.

I am first aid trained, insured and police checked. I initially keep all dogs on the lead until I have assessed their temperament and am completely satisfied that they will return to me on recall. I vet and gradually integrate all new dogs to ensure that they get on with existing group members and try to walk dogs in groups according to age, ability and temperament so that each dog gets the most from his or her walks.

My car is comfortable and safe for any dog, with canine seat belts, rugs and towels for that all-important dry-off before coming home (usual essential if we have been on one of the beaches!)

I can provide a solo walk at a slightly higher rate if, for example, your dog is not very sociable. The one hour walk is the most popular but shorter walks can be arranged. Walks are available every day of the week rain or shine!

NB: There are no 1 hour solo walks available between 11 00 am and 3.00 pm because of the lunchtime group walks.

Half hour solo walks are the same price as one hour group walks and are subject to availability.

NB I DO NOT OFFER DOG BOARDING

Pop across to my Facebook page to see what fun your dog could be having on one of our walks.

Please call me on 07917458247 to discuss your requirements.

Terms and conditions

*Anywhere over 4 miles from Whitley Bay, NE26 will be charged at an additional 0.40p per mile extra each way.

Payment in full should be made weekly in advance. As long as I am given at least 24 hours notice, a refund will be given if you need to cancel a walk.

Last Minute Service – A same day request for a dog walk will have an additional fee of £2.

An additional fee of £5 applies on a Saturday and Sunday. As I only occasionally do weekend walks, it is likely that this will be a solo 1 hour walk which would normally be £18. Therefore the cost of the walk would be £23. (£20 if dog lives within a short walking distance from my home.)

Testimonials

Pam has been walking my Dachshund, Sonny for nearly 3 years now, 3 – 5 days every week and we would be lost without her! Sonny loves her, and he comes home every day so tired after playing out with his friends. She sends photos and updates of what he’s been getting up to, she is amazing at her job and obviously loves all the pets she looks after. We also use Pam to feed our 2 cats when we are away. Again, we know they are being looked after and don’t have to worry about them. Can’t reco… Read more

I’m really happy with the way Rosie has taken to Pam and I’m sure it’s because she has a lot of 1 to 1 attention and socialises with other small dogs. She’s always delighted to see Pam at the door and trots down to the car confidently, without a backward glance. The photos are an added bonus so I can see how much she has enjoyed her outing.

Pam used to walk Ruby for at least 2 years. Ruby looked forward to her walks and she adored Pam. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we often texted her to walk at short notice and she never let us down. She also walked Honey now and then when we were stuck, who also adores Pam.
