Cat Sitting Whitley Bay and Cullercoats

My cats, Teddy and Lily

My cat sitting service for Whitley Bay, Cullercoats and surrounding areas offers you and your cat(s) the high standard of personal care that I would wish for my two, Teddy and Lily. Although cats are very independent creatures, they are very territorial and like nothing more than to be in the security and comfort of their own home.

Whilst you can often rely on friends and family to visit your pets, it is important that your cat is given companionship and care by experienced cat lovers such as myself.

Firstly, I will come and visit you at your home (free of charge) so that I can get to know your cat(s) and talk to you about their routine, requirements, likes and dislikes and any health issues.

We will then discuss whether you would prefer two visits per day or one visit per day.

Prices

15 min pop in visit £8.50 (£8.00 if 2 visits per day, £10 at weekends)

This is ideal if your cat is shy and will hide away and not interact.

30 min longer visit £10 (£12 at weekends)

This is recommended for cats only receiving one visit per day.

NB I do not offer any discounts for 2 visits a day at weekends.

It will be either £10 per visit (pop in) or £12 (longer visit with playtime and cuddles).

I will no longer be offering 2 visits a day between the months of November and March, only 1 visit (unless you live a short walking distance from my home).

Cats must be indoors for the duration of the visits unless there is a cat flap leading into a secure back garden.

When I visit, I will discard any old food and replace it with fresh food and water. I can also groom your cat(s) and administer any medication, if applicable. The litter tray(s) will be cleaned and lots of TLC will be given. (I always come equipped with lots of toys which are usually very popular – especially the dangly feather toy!)

If you would like your plants watered, bins put out or curtains drawn whilst I am there, just let me know.

Why Choose me?

I do not charge extra for a second cat. However, each additional cat after that is £2.

I provide a cost effective alternative to a cattery and there will be minimal disruption to your cat’s normal routine.

There will be no struggling to get your cat into the dreaded travel basket and no stressful transport to and from the cattery.

Peace of mind that your house will be safe while you are away.

Less risk of being burgled as my car does not advertise the fact that I am a pet sitter.

I will give you regular updates by text and by uploading pictures/videos of your cat(s) onto my Facebook page so you can see how happy they are.

Testimonials

Pam is fantastic with Charlie and I feel so confident leaving him in her care. Pam came to my rescue when I had a family emergency and took care of Charlie at short notice kept me updated on him whilst I was away. Can’t recommend Pam enough

I booked Pam as she came highly recommended. I am so pleased with the care she gave our cat Stanley. We had put him into a cattery before but felt he became stressed and lost weight. We were away for two weeks so it would’ve been too much for him to be locked up. Pam sent me regular updates and pictures on Facebook. When we met on the last day Stanley came out and rolled over right at her feet! Stanley looked healthy and happy. We are already booking Pam for our next trip away.

Pam has looked after our cats on several occasions and I cannot recommend her enough; she’s so good with them, the cats love her and she keeps us updated when we’re away with photos of the boys which we loved.  We won’t use anyone else!  Many thanks from Mango and Marmalade.
